Transport for London, in conjunction with LCC, publish free cycle maps of the whole of London. Map no. 14 covers Tooting, Balham, Southfields, Earlsfield, Southfields, Wandsworth, Roehampton and the south of Putney, as well as Kingston, Morden and Mitcham. No. 10 has Battersea and Clapham and the whole of central London. Map no. 9 covers the rest of Putney and further north. (Each of the maps has an enlarged map of central London on the reverse.)

cyclemaps.com offer a free journey planner for routes using cycle paths and minor roads - http://www.cyclemaps.net. For a subscription of £15 a year, or £10 for 6 months, you can also use their site to plan direct or leisure routes - http://www.cyclemaps.com.
The Transport for London website includes a journey planner - http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk. For journeys by bike, choose "more options". Under "Use any of these modes of transport", tick "Cycle" and then click on "Additional cycling options" to choose whether you want a cycle-only route or combined with public transport.
